Many of us pass by this location at least once a week. Many more of us even order from them often. The pizza is delicious and you are always met with a smile and the best customer service. What many do not know is that the owner of our Newburyport Dominos is quietly giving back and true hero in our little sea side city. Recently we were asked by Mr. Donald Jarvis to hightlight the owner of our local Dominos and we happily obliged. Here are Mr. Jarvis's words about his friend Mr. Viken Dumeciyan: "I would like to take a moment and share a special thank you to one of the greatest people I know. Someone who is always quick to support and be involved, someone who truly enjoys helping others. I can not count the number of times I have hear about something that this man has done to support the community, a project or a group. It’s truly inspiring. It seems he will always find a way to do what he can. A story of his recently that truly had an impact on me was what he did this past winter during those nasty power outages. Supplying pizzas, and breadsticks from Newburyport to Ipswich to first responders, and the crew restoring power to our community in the middle of white out conditions and blizzard like forces. There was nothing opened within miles from where they were in Ipswich, but he was opened in Newburyport and he made damn well made sure they were getting food to eat at whatever it took. Viken, I can never thank you enough, our community can never thank you enough and the City of Newburyport can never thank you enough for your extremely generous, loving and caring heart. Believe me, many people in the area sing your praises - I hear it all the time. You are more then well deserving of being recognized and shown how much you are truly appreciated for what you do and the contributions you make to the community. I’m proud to call you my friend. You have touched and impacted everyone around you rather it be your employees who admire you, your customers who know they get more then a pizza when they order from you, or your friends and family. You are a very special token to everyone around you. Viken, thank you for being you!! 🍕 " Photo credit: Christine Tron of the V.F.W
